Opening with red fruit and black tea, the 2018 has exceptional red fruit notes that exude from the glass. Red cherry, strawberry and cranberry deliver on the palate and round out the bright acidity which is common in Carneros Pinot Noir.
This Chardonnay remains one of the favorites at the winery, and no wonder. Carneros Chardonnay is distinct, with a touch of elegance, crisp acidity and aromas and flavors of stone fruit, citrus and hints of oak spice. A surprisingly unctuous mouthfeel comes from allowing the fruit to rest on the lees, with regular stirring. And not to be outdone, there’s a dollop of fruit from the heart of the Valley, the notable Gamble Ranch in Oakville, which rounds out the palate and makes the wine even more memorable.
A new addition to the Beringer Winery Exclusive Collection, the Napa Valley Malbec is flush with fresh blackberry and black currant notes. Hints of clove and violets waft out of the glass as darker notes of vanilla and oak spice bring the beautiful bouquet together. Round tannins and a full-bodied palate combined with the berry flavors create an experience not unlike enjoying a boysenberry pie. The finish is long and lingers pleasantly from sip to sip. While enjoyable now, this wine will age at least another 8 years.
Crisp and refreshing, with delightful notes of citrus, grapefruit and subtle tropical notes. Perfect for enjoying a summer evening, and pairs beautifully with salad, seafood and more!
