Aromas of apples, peaches and other pome fruits
dominate the nose on this fresh Napa Valley Riesling. Crisp and refreshing,
with a tartness balanced by moderate sweetness, the wine is medium-weight
and lingers on the finish. Best when served slightly chilled, as an apéritif or
with rich sauces and creamy cheeses, such as triple cream Brie.
In some recent vintages, sourcing for Beringer’s Napa
Valley Riesling has principally come from two exceptional vineyards, the
Gamble Ranch in Oakville and, just slightly further south, the Beringer
Vineyard in Yountville.
