About This Wine
Saturated deep ruby. Dark berries, licorice, minerals and espresso on the nose, along with a strong rocky quality. Supple, broad and seamless but at the same time quite powerful, with terrific inner-mouth energy and a youthfully medicinal quality. Finishes with serious, somewhat aggressive tannins and outstanding breadth. This big boy will need patience. The vineyard here is 2,500 feet above sea level. Laurie Hook.
